With a population of around 270 million people, it is the world's fourth most populous country and the most populous Muslim-majority nation. The national language is Indonesian, also referred as Bahasa Indonesia. Indonesia is also a part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, a zone of frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. 90% of the world's earthquakes and 81% of the world's largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire. Indonesia itself has the largest number of active volcanoes in the world and is prone to frequent earthquakes
