Security Clearance

Staff movements and missions to/within the country are subject to clearance by the Designated Official through TRIP 

(using official UN email address and password ).

When joining with UN system,  all  UN personnel must complete the BSAFE security https://training.dss.un.org. You can use this  certificate (without expiry date) when you join various UN agencies, it suggested to keep pdf format of this certificate as part of your personal documentation.

Request for travel to Indonesia should be submitted online via TRIP (https://dss.un.org)  at least one week prior to the date of travel. Security clearance for internal travel within Indonesia must be submitted via TRIP at least three working days prior to travel. Inquiries about security clearance and special requests for internal clearance can be sent via email to: dss-sccidundporg.

In case  new staff has not have UN email address, please contact  your HR/ admin focal point to help requesting security clearance via TRIP

External UN and UN-led missions and newly assigned UN Staff are requested to contact the UNDSS Office for security briefing upon arrival.
