If your assignment is for 12 months (for fixed term appointment/temporary appointment modalities) or more, you are entitled to waive the import tax. This requires advanced government approval and should be arranged within a period of 6 (six) months only, since your assignment in Indonesia. Shipment of any items into the country beyond the 6 month period will incur import tax which can be costly. Please contact your respective Administrative office for further information.
